My friend had an idea but never followed through with it. If he made a fighting game, he would have the best swordsmen of all time and nobody else. So far I have:
*Characters right off the bat*
Ryu Hyabusa- Ninja Gaiden- Dragon Sword
Prince of Persia- Prince of Persia- Daggers of Time
Link- Legend of Zelda- Master Sword
Roy- Fire Emblem 6- Sealed Sword (Yes I know he is one of the worst lords in the fire emblem series but he kicks some serious @ss with the sealed sword)
Sora- Kingdom Hearts- Keyblade (start with kingdom key and other keychains can be unlocked)
Nightmare- Soul Calibur- Soul Edge (The only thing keeping him from being on unlockable characters is the fact that soul edge drains his health)
*Unlockable Characters*
Kratos- God of War- Blades of Chaos (Everyone knows why)
Cloud Strife- Final Fantasy 7- Buster Sword (Ithink that's what his sword is called. He uses a giant sword effortlessly.)
So if you can think of any swordsmen who should be in this game
just put who, what game they are from, what their sword is called, and if they need to be unlocked why.
No Sephiroth and Master Chief will not be accepted.
Sephiroth is too good and is sword is like 7 ft long and people would abuse the hell out of him. Master Chief is not a swordsman.
